11/13/2011 — Sakurajima Volcano – sizeable blast launches debris THOUSANDS of feet into the air

 

Projectiles launched THOUSANDS of feet into the air — see lower right panel and upper left panel to see how high the volcanic lava bombs go !

Its has been a few days since a sizeable eruption of lava at Sakurajima Volcano in Japan.

Today , we see resumed activity.

Screenshots below show HOW HIGH this material was ejected … The lava was ejected several thousand feet into the air for sure.
