El Hierro Volcano — Located southwest of Spain in the Atlantic Ocean — Canary Islands , has been on elevated alert for several weeks.  As of today, word is spreading that a larger eruption (or further undersea eruptions) are imminent.

There is a link below to view the current seismograph / harmonic tremors occurring at El Hierro.

Also, here is a great link to “earthquake-report.com” .. they have an ongoing blog which is documenting the rising emergency in the Canaries.

Watch this island chain for future eruptions that may cause issues for the countries that border the region (Africa, Spain, Portugal)– and for countries which border the Atlantic  ocean.

One final thing, a large ash eruption could travel across the Atlantic towards the Caribbean and Americas.  Let’s hope this volcanic eruption remains underwater.
