Here are the stats.. TWO 5.8 magnitude at just THREE miles deep and a 5.3 in addition.. shallow quakes.. just like the previous large damaging earthquake in NZ earlier in 2011… this quake occurred about 9 miles east of Christchurch New Zealand .
