If you live (or know someone who lives) in the south USA — Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Arkansas, Tennessee, Kentucky, South Carolina, or North Carolina.. let them know to expect possible severe weather — up to and including tornadoes (damaging winds / hail).

This alert would be for the next 24 hours approximately — from now –1030am CST 2/18/2012 .

This system is currently centered in Texas— spanning out over Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama.. heading East – Northeast towards Arkansas, Tennessee, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Kentucky.
