Half the state of Alabama was just put under a tornado watch until 6am 1/23/2012 ! Be safe in the south as well.. Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia.
Almost the ENTIRE STATE of Mississippi was just put under a tornado watch until 6am 1/23/2012 as well.

The entire midwest is under a severe weather warning — From Missouri east to Ohio.. south west from Ohio through Mississippi — Tornadoes, damaging winds, and hail . Heavy rains and lightning.
Watch now through Illinois.. Chicago …
Eastwards.. watch Indianapolis Indiana, Columbus Ohio, and northwards towards Lansing Michigan.
Severe will continue to develop as this system moves North by Northeast.
