screenshot @ 545pm CDT 4/3/2012 from intellicast:Multiple detections and reports of Tornadoes also pictures on the weather channel of GRAPEFRUIT sized hail (possibly large softball instead)… either way … HUGE hail… — over a dozens states w/ damaging winds out in front of each strong cell.
This is the time to be aware of the possibility of severe weather — if you live in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, New York, Pennsylvania .. other states may be impacted on the East coast and North .
The future of this storm will depend on what occurs after sunset… in about an hour or two (8pm CDT 4/3/2012) we will know if things will die out or remain severe overnight.
Keep in mind that IF severe weather continues overnight.. the storms will move further north/northeast/east — this means additional new areas will need to be alert of this possibility.
